J.T. Battenberg : ウィキペディア英語版 | J.T. Battenberg J.T. Battenberg III (born 1944) was the Chairman, CEO, and President of Delphi Corporation from 1998 to 2005.〔(J. T. Battenberg III 1944— Biography - An insider rises to ceo )〕 ==Early life and career== Battenberg obtained a Bachelor of Science from Kettering University in 1966 and an Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School in 1969.〔(J T Battenberg III, CEO of Delphi (DPH), Earns $2.8 mil )〕 He joined General Motors in 1961, working his way up the company. He eventually took over management of Delphi, a GM spinoff. Later, after being appointed CEO of Delphi Automotive, Battenberg, aided by Delphi CFO Allen Dawes and Controller Paul Free, directed the falsification of financial records, and his actions pushed Delphi into eventual bankruptcy. This was an ironic ending for Battenberg's career. He was the very first CEO to submit financial reports under the Sarbanes-Oxley regulations that eventually made him responsible for submitting falsified reports to the SEC. Battenberg was found liable for accounting misrepresentations involving a $237 million payment Delphi made to former parent General Motors. Battenberg was ordered to pay substantial fines for his wrongdoing. 〔http://www.thedetroitbureau.com/2011/11/battenberg-hit-with-hefty-fine-for-delphi-scam/〕
